
KIBS Europe e.V.
KIBS Europe e.V., the Karmapa International Buddhist Society Europe e.V., is a non-profit association under the leadership of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa and is based in Oldenburg, Germany. The society aims to promote inner wealth and peace by fostering Buddhist education, culture, and charity.

During the past years, the focus of the activity of KIBS Europe e.V. has been the support of the KIBI and the related activities of Thaye Dorje. This included activities such as funding renovations of the KIBI building, covering the travel costs for faculty members, stipends for KIBI teachers, interpreters and voluntary staff, and the health insurance of the monks at KIBI. Pretty new is the KIBI publications with own book releases as part of the library. In addition it supports the logistics for KIBI Shop. KIBS Europe e.V. further distributed information and flyers related to Karmapa Europe tour program in Buddhist centers throughout Europe. The KIBS Europe e.V. Governing Body:
At the request of Thaye Dorje, His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, our founding team launched the Karmapa International Buddhist Society e.V. (KIBS Europe e.V.) in 2013. Today we take care of the donations and projects in direct cooperation and consultation with the responsible KIBI staff.

Dr. Rolf Scheuermann
President of KIBS Europe e.V., Tibetologist working at the University of Heidelberg, and member of the KIBI Academic Council.

Sabine Schütz
Vice President of KIBS Europe e.V., responsible for finance, accounting, and taxes. Self-employed coach specializing in psychology, social pedagogy, and career development.

Dagmar Colombel
3. Member of Board of KIBS Europe e.V. and responsible for Public Relations. Guides individuals to Buddhist sacred places across Asia and works in the events industry.

Audrey Desserieres
Member of KIBS Europe e.V.. Director of Dhagpo Kagyu Library, Dhagpo Kagyu Ling (France). Translator for Rabsel Éditions.

Nina Lehmann
Member of KIBS Europe e.V. Since 2006 in the organization team of Bodhi Path Renchen-Ulm, Germany. Works as physical therapist.

Richard Caetano
Member of KIBS Europe e.V., works as a software engineer and entrepreneur.
